Feral Brewing Celebrate 21 Years Of Brewing!

Golden State Can Mock

For 21 years Feral Brewing Co has been innovating and making quality beer, so to celebrate we’re going back to where it all started, with a West Coast IIPA.

Brendan Varis, Feral’s founder, opened the brewery with a vision to craft beers that were unlike anything seen before in Australia. And he got the formula right because 21 years on Feral Brewing continues to go from strengthen to strength, producing high quality and unique beers, from Feral White, Hop Hog, Biggie Juice and more.

To celebrate the milestone the latest addition to our Brewers Series will be a West Coast IIPA with a can design that takes fans through the 21-year journey of this much-loved beer brand. The design pays homage to our roots with the backdrop of our former brewpub in the valley, and the Datsun that was used to deliver our kegs. Alan Sim, the artist had this to say:

“This artwork is a tribute to Feral’s rich origin story and its cherished original brewery home in Baskerville. In celebration of the 21st anniversary, it draws inspiration from the iconic vintage Ute that once graced the original brewery, capturing the sun setting on the past 21 years and as we embrace the future. The golden sunset hues adorning the Ute pay homage to the name – “Golden State”, reflecting the renowned sunsets that grace our region, and California with the style of beer. It’s a symbol the illustrious history and the bright promise of many more years to come.”

Heaving with citrus, pine and passionfruit and a hefty malt bill to compliment, Golden State is dank, bitter and bold.

With Golden State, we wanted to embrace our past and recognise the many beers we’ve made along the way.
